What Nigerian laws require of the prosecution is to prove the guilt of an accused person beyond reasonable doubt, and not beyond all shadow of doubt. In this case, the quality of evidence led by the respondent left no shadow of doubt that the appellant committed the offence. (P. 242, para. D)
