Adaeze Ifezulike, Nigerian Lifestyle Expert Receives Award as Member of the British Empire & Fellow of the British Society

Dr Adaeze Ifezulike MBE, FRCGP, was yesterday, Friday, 20th September 2024 conferred with FELLOW of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine FBSLM for her efforts in promoting lifestyle change for better health. She was previously awarded a Member of the British Empire in 2022 by Her Majesty, Queen of England for her impact on ethnic minority health.

About the recipient

Dr Adaeze Ifezulike MBE has been a medical doctor for 27 years and is an international keynote speaker, an accomplished author and award-winning health advocate.

She is widely regarded as the go-to source on healthy lifestyles and obesity management.
She is one of UK’s pioneer Lifestyle Medicine Physicians and a regional director of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine.

She was awarded an MBE in 2022 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth for her impact on ethnic minority health. She received the Outstanding Contribution To The Black Community Award in the 2023 inaugural Black Scottish Awards.

She has written several books both medical and children’s books including the award winning Christmas book called Rudolph the grumpy reindeer.

She is a wife and mother of three amazing children. Dr. Adaeze currently resides in the United Kingdom, where she has lived and worked as a family physician for more than a decade.
