Abubakar Danso Sodangi was born 31 January 1954. He died on 11 March 2024. He was elected Senator for the Nasarawa West constituency of Nasarawa State, Nigeria, taking office in May 1999, and was reelected in 2003 and 2007. He was a member of the ruling party All Progressives Congress (APC) and held the title of Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
He served the NBA Abuja Branch as Chairman (1990 โ 1991). He was also Chairman of the Senate Committe on FCT (2004 โ 2007)
