NBA WOMEN FORUM (ONDO STATE CHAPTER) MOURNS HIS EXCELLENCY, ARAKUNRIN OLUWAROTIMI AKEREDOLU

It is with great shock and sadness that the Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF) Ondo State joins multitudes of Nigerians to mourn the demise of a former President of the NBA and the former Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN CON, who departed this sinful world on 27th December, 2023.

Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN CON, till his demise was a brave and courageous leader and bar man who firmly believed and advocated for women empowerment and gender equality.
He strongly respected the female gender and never stopped encouraging female lawyers to be a lot more resilient in their practice of law, personal development, career growth and their contribution to the legal profession. This was also evident in how well he included women in governance by trusting women with key and vital positions in his quest to set the Sunshine State on the path of real growth and development.

His death is indeed a monumental loss to Ondo State and the Legal Profession. The entire State steam and members of the NBAWF Ondo State, commiserate with his immediate family, the good people of Ondo State, the State Government and members of the legal profession. May God grant him eternal rest.
